Recently I was kind enough to receive some of the new Limited Edition J2O-Midnight Range, I have to say I wasn't sure when I read what the flavours were:
Midnight Amber - Orange, Lemon and Mandarin Flavour which J2O say is:
"Magical burst with real citrus fruit juices blended with winter spice flavours which will create a mysterious drink that will enchant and delight you."
Midnight Forest - Orange, Cherry & Chocolate Flavour which J20 say is:
"An enchanting blend with real orange and luscious cherry fruit juices with a hint of chocolate flavour that will bewitch your senses and charm you."
My mind was set on what a strange mix they were, especially the midnight forest one, but they sounded really inviting at the same time! So I put them straight in the fridge to become very cold before I popped one open.
Once I did decide to try them, I was really surprised, I loved both of them. The Orange, Lemon and Mandarin flavour had a really lovely festive spice taste to it, it was so refreshing but all in the same mouthful give you that warm christmas feeling. The Orange, Cherry and Chocolate one, I found tasted strongly of the cherry more so than the other two but it was so good! For someone who isn't a big drinker and would rather sit back with a nice soft drink these are perfect, I am definitely going to be stocking up for over the christmas period.
I also discovered, while browsing on the J2o website, that they have an alcoholic drinks recipe for each of the J2o drink flavours under the how to best serve. Under the J2o Midnight Forest Drink they had a hot coco cherry charm, which you could have as a hot chocolate or as a hot chocolate with a blend of Red Vermouth in it as well. I was really gutted that I had already consumed both of the Midnight Forest bottles when I found this, so that will be on my list to try next!
