After spending hours trying to decide what to wear to a blogging event, I finally decided to keep it simple but a little bit smart with black jeans, a white t-shirt and a long blazer. I also kept my make up really natural but added a berry lipstick to add a little bit of colour.
I travelled to London by train which took me around 40 minutes which was really good but everywhere was super busy because of the rugby world cup qualifying games being on, so I struggled to get a seat. I met up with Charlotte from Style Splurging at London Waterloo, which really helped to calm my nerves as I think we were both as nervous as each other. The two of us stopped off for lunch at a little Italian place just around the corner from the hotel, and had pizzas and a good old chit-chat, it was so nice to finally meet up with another blogger with really similar interests and just get on, it was like chatting with an old friend.
When 2 o'clock was approaching we decided to head on over to the Conrad St James, where the fun would begin, it really was beautiful, there were fresh flowers everywhere, and marble floors and I had no idea what it was but everywhere was this gorgeous smell in the air! After signing in we were greeted with cocktails and champagne, then it was time to go in and explore! :)
There was so many amazing brands like Jewellery Box, The Perfume Shop, CloudNine, Yoogaia, Encona and that is just a few of them! I found out so much information when we stood chatting to the ladies at Mode Media who also sponsored the event. I discovered some great companies I would love to work with in the near future, and I can't wait to introduce you all to them. The whole event was just amazing, it's the only word for it, there was so much time taken to organise even the little details during the day.
All of the brands and companies were beyond generous with the goodie bags and samples for us to try out for ourselves and I will slowly get round to reviewing each one! Thank you so much to for every one of them, I was in shock sitting on the train on the way home, I had so much to look at!
I want to say a big thank you to Scarlett for a lovely day and for giving me the chance to actually get truly involved in the blogging world and meet so many great people. For one day I wasn't just a mummy, I was a blogger just like everyone else and I was me! :) Thank you to Charlotte as well for putting up with my nervous chatting and it was lovely to gain a blogger friend! :)
So, all in all, I loved every minute of it and you really should try and attend some blog events if it is something you are interested in, no matter how nervous you are!
Thanks for reading!
Lots of Love
