High Street vs. High End Make Up

There is so much around about high-end and high street make up. I have been in the beauty industry for a really long time now and myself I have rarely used high-end make up, yes often that may have been because of cost, but I have always managed to find products that I love on the high street, so why not! Well recently I decide to treat myself (and maybe try out) some high-end make up products. I purchased some Mac foundation, Pressed Powder and Benefit Fake Up Concealer.

I really wanted to show you the different between both of my make up looks and see what you think about the different between the high-end and the high street! I will be using the same everyday make look and same techniques in both the make up looks, I will just be using the different products.

First of all here is my high street make up look.

With this look I used:
Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation - 70 Natural
Collection Sheer Loose Powder - 02 Translucent
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - 3 Warm Medium
L'Oreal Glam Bronzer - Blond Sun
MUA Blusher - Bon Bon
Rimmel London Wonder'full Mascara - Extreme Black

Secondly here is my high-end make up look.

With this look I used:
Mac Studio Fix Fluid - NW15
Mac Studio Careblend/Pressed - Light Plus
Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Crease Control Concealer - 01 Light
L'Oreal Glam Bronzer - Blond Sun
MUA  Blusher - Bon Bon
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Do you have a favourite? Can you see the difference? I want your honest opinions in the comments below. What do you use on a daily basis?

Thank you for reading.

Lots of Love

  1. I feel like you actually got more covering with the high street make up! I like applying mac but through the day it definitely transfers, the covering you get when you first apply is amazing but if you're busy I don't think it's as smudge proof as people say.
