A Simple Chocolate Cake In A Mug!

I wanted to show you something super quick and really tasty. This can be for a quick kids dessert or a naughty late night nibble (or mid day!). I am sure you have all heard of them, but maybe not tried them, Mug Cakes! They are small cakes that, as the name says, you make in a mug, and in the microwave! They are really simple, and you could even get the kids to do them. This is a simple chocolate cake in a mug!

What you need:
A Microwave safe mug
1/4 cup of flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp hazelnut chocolate spread (nutella)

Instructions:
1. Mix together all the dry ingredients.

2. Whisk in the milk and vegetable oil until there are no lumps.

3. Pour into a microwave safe mug, make sure there is plenty of room for the cake to rise and not over flow.

4. Add the Tbsp of hazelnut chocolate spread to the mixture, this will sink to the middle.

5. Place the mug in the microwave and microwave for around 70 seconds. (This will vary depending on your microwave.)

Ta da! A simple super tasty chocolate cake in minutes! :)
