Pretty, Perfect Skin!

Hello My Lovelynesses,
When you're reading this, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I am such a big kid when it come to birthdays. I just see it as that a one special day just for you each year! I will be doing a blog post for you showing you where we go for dinner in the week!
Anyway....I had a little bit of a beauty haul the other day so I thought I would share with you what I got! It would be really nice to hear from some of you if you have tried any of them and what you think of them! I will do a couple of reviews on some of the products so let me know if you want to know about a certain one! :)
Garnier Fresh Clarifying Wash - Shine Be Gone - I have really oily skin at the moment and I really wanted to find a face wash that makes your skin feel fresh and clean. I saw this and it actually has the words Refreshes and Purifies on the front of it. It is for combination to oily skin so I thought it would be defiantly worth a try. - £3.15
Garnier  Fresh Refining Toner - Shine Be Gone - I picked up this toner because it went with the face wash that I brought. This says it Purifies, Tones and Tightens Pores. I needed a whole range of products for my skin so I thought why not get the matching range! - £3.29
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - I saw this about three months ago in a magazine and I thought it looked really good as I had never seen anything like it before, at the time I wasn't able to find it anywhere. Lately I have seen it in a few other bloggers reviews and blog posts, so I decided it was a must buy as soon as I could find it. Guess what I found it on offer in Superdrug £3.32, most other stores have it for around £5. I didn't realise how large the bottle was as well, it is 400ml which should give you around 200 uses.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation - SPF 20 - 021 Nude - I ran out of foundation but decided I would go for something completely different. The reason I went of this one was because when I read it, it claims that the vitamins init improves you skin tone within 3 weeks, so we shall see! :) - £8.99

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - Warm Medium 3 - This is a repurchase for me I have been using it for a while and considering it is one of the cheaper options for concealers, it really works and it stays in place.
Thanks for reading!
Like I said I would love to hear from you if you have tried or want to know more about any of these products!

Lots of Love

June Favourites

Hello Lovelys!
How are you doing? Things at home have been a little bit stressful lately, so thats why I have been a  bit distant from my blog and talking to you lovelys! I'm back though and I am putting my all in to you guys! :) Thank you for still reading, it means the world to me.
I am a little late with my June favourites, but don't worry it is here! :)

1. Cath Kidston - Bluebell Body Wash 250ml
I love this it smells so lovely but isn't too strong and it feels really creamy when you apply it to your skin. It was a gift from my mum a little while ago and I have only just started using it. I think it is around £10 to buy.

2. Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Restorer Shampoo & Conditioner 250ml
I picked this up when I was in a rush and suddenly remember I needed shampoo, and it was on offer! I know that really doesn't sound too good, but trust me if your hair is dry at all this is a must buy for you. It has a blend of coconut oil and coco butter in it, which you can smell straight away. I found it left my hair so soft and shiny. For each bottle you are looking at between £2.50 - £3.00.

3. Toffifees
I have seen these in the shops before but never picked them up, but my boyfriend brought a couple of packs home for me. Oh my god after my first one I was hooked, they are so yummy. I couldn't stop myself grabbing one whenever I walked past them!  If you haven't tried this you must!

 4. L'Oreal Glam Bronze - Blonde Sun
I got this bronzer after seeing it on another blog, I need something which wasn't going to be too dark or orangey. It is really lovely to use and goes on as light or dark as I want it to. I use love that it doesn't have lots of shimmer in it, there is a tiny amount but it is almost a matt colour. I found it in Superdrug for £7.99.

5. Pretty Little Liars - Season 5
This isn't really a June Favourite but an all time favourite of mine. I have been watching Pretty Little Liars online since it first started in 2010! I am still hooked...I watch it online as the UK hasn't been showing it for very long and I am really ahead of it. It is a series about a teenage murder mystery, which an anonymous 'A' knows all of the girls secret after they friend goes missing. That is properly not the best description to draw you in from me though.  It has recently started Season 5 and I look forward to a new episode every week. If you haven't seen any then you should jump online and start watching, I guarantee you will be hooked. I told a close friends of mine this a few weeks ago and guess what now she is, and working her why through the first season! :)

So that is my June Favourites, do you have any favourites for this month? I would really love to hear about them if you do!

Thank you for reading!

Lots of Love

Breathtakingly Brilliant Brownies!

Hello My Lovely's,
How is everyone? I have been doing so much baking lately, I find it so therapeutic and I have needed as much stress release as possible! :) I thought I would share with you the simplest, yet the most yummiest brownie recipe I have tried! I might even give you a few ideas of how to change them up a little and make them a little bit different to your standard brownies!

This recipe will serve up to 20 people...so you might want to cut it down a bit or just eat loads yourself, like we did! :)
What you will need:
400g Caster Sugar
225g Butter, melted
60g Coco Powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
4 Eggs
225g Plain Four
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt

How to make them:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 C or gas mark 4.
It is as simple as mixing all of the ingredients together in the order which I have listed above. All I would suggest is to make sure that you completely blend it all together in-between each of the ingredients.
Transfer the mixture into a large, greased and floured, flat tray - 23x33cm  (or two round trays as I ended up doing!). Cook for 20-25minutes!
Brownie's are meant to be gooey in the centre, so when checking they are cooked they are meant to have a small amount of residue on the knife. Don't over cook!

Remove them from the oven,  and allow to cool, then just enjoy! :)

These should be cooked and ready in 30 minutes!

There are so many different things you could add to these brownies to mix it up a little bit! I added some dark chocolate chips to half of my mixture. You will only need about 60grams of these ingredients.
Here is a list of other things you could add:
Walnuts
White Chocolate Chips
Cherries
Coconut
Chili Powder
Lemon Zest

Do you add anything different to your brownies? Or can you think of something I haven't thought of?
Let me know any ideas I could try and send me some pictures if you give these a try! :)

Thank you for reading!
Lots of Love

Action For Children!

Hello Lovely's,

How was your week? Did you get up to much? I had a week of doing bits and bobs so nothing exciting! This is going to be a different post than usual, I want to talk to you about something that has become close to my heart recently.

I don't know how many of you have heard about a children's charity called Action For Children. They are a charity who supports vulnerable and neglected children and young people throughout the UK. This charity works with over 300,000 children, young people, parents and cares each year, running 650 services across the UK and helping to tackle issues like child neglect and abuse.
Action for Children run a huge amount of classes, courses and groups, for parents and children to attend of all ages! It is endless the amount of things this charity does for everyone! You can find out so much more on their website than I can tell you in this little post! (Which is linked above & at the bottom of the post.)

I had never heard of them before having my daughter, after having her I decided I wanted to start attending some groups to be able to meet new mums. They run groups for all different ages, and they only ask for donations. Mia and I have been going to a sensory class on a friday afternoon (as well as many more) which was open to all ages 0-5 years old each week there was all sorts of fun activities set out to play with and try. Unfortunately there wasn't enough donations coming in to cover resources to continue running this group. Which is really sad, this is what made me want to do this post. :(

All of there support workers, volunteers, and centre organisers, everyone is so helpful, supportive, caring and just lovely to be around. I have never been to so many different classes which are always so welcoming and friendly. I really think more people need to know about the amazing work that they actually do.

I have written this post just because I want people to be aware of the hard work coming from these charities and I feel like it's so sad that they aren't getting enough to keep running some of these amazing classes and groups which are supporting mums, dads and the whole family!
The great thing about supporting them is that if you head to their my action for children website you can enter your postcode and it will bring up all the local projects in your area which need your support! Not only that, they will keep you updated on how that project is coming along, so you know what is being done with your money, it isn't just disappearing! :)

I am not saying please donate, (but please do if you can and want to) but go to their site and help make more people aware!

I just want to say Thank You to all the lovely ladies that Mia and I see, the support, advice and even just the friendly faces completely change our week! So Thank you so much Action For Children!

Thank you for taking your time to read!

Lots of Love!
